I didn't realize I have stepped in New Jersey for just a 20-minute drive from Philly to Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. Cool, isn't it?

It's a short trip actually. My husband's training session was only a day plus another day of going around tulsa. I only had one prepared itinerary for that day which was to visit Philbrook Museum of Art, but it turned out we made 3 itineraries. So far, so good. Tiring but worthwhile. Weather was hot and windy, a really super summer heat in Tulsa!

I got few photos for me and my husband. Mostly, all of them are inside the Santos residence - our good family friend & brothers and sisters in Christ. These were all shots during Melissa's graduation party and her 18th birthday as well. The shots are all done inside their home in Hockessin, Delaware. I included all our shots together with our family and friends from our church. My first time to take a step on this state, but we are still hoping to find a good chance to get back there for another round of going around the places worth visiting.

In a 2-hour plane trip, we arrived Orlando as our exact point of destination and so far, this is one of my most favorite trip weatherwise. It's because the weather was perfectly warm for a tropical person like me! It is the perfect weather I am always looking forward to in every trip we are having.
For the entire week, we were out in the mid-80's and Craig was perspiring like crazy!..hahaha.
It was when we went to Magic Kingdom that it went down to the 60's later in the night, but not too bad for me for a chilly night.
We left Orlando at mid 70'sF and sunny, and we arrived Maryland SNOWING!....and in the 20's. That was freezing! Gosh! Feet and knees started to freeze a li'l bit. But thank God! We arrived home safe and sound.

This trip is entirely one hour from home to our exact destination. It was 45-minute drive from Sykesville, MD to Wheaton Station. From there, we boarded the Metro train going to Union Station for 25 minutes. So, not that tiring because hubby doesn't need to drive that further.
We got tickets for the DC trolley tour so, from Union Station we boarded the DC trolley. It was supposed to be a full tour of the entire DC tourist destinations, but we planned to stop at The Capitol and had our tour inside. We got the 2:30pm ticket for the Capitol inside tour so we could not leave. I got the chance to get a closer look on a bunch of squirrels busy digging nuts under the big willow oak tree. I was able to get shots on the white squirrel who's so cute! Most of them are colored brown so I find him so unique and attractive from all of them. I tried playing with them but it's just like they were saying..."I don't have time to play with you gurl...sorry I'm busy!" hehehe!
It was a 1 hour wait til the tour, so the only place close by to visit was the National Botanical Garden, just beside the Smithsonian Museum.
We have been visiting several botanical gardens in different places, but that should be better than waiting for nothing even if we didn't had our lunch at all. In fairness, the flowers are captivating and they still have the unique ones from that of other botanical gardens. We were able to get a quick quesadilla by 4:45pm as I am really starving! Gosh, that was horrible!
So far, this is just the part 1 of our trip. In other words, I say "I shall return!"

A very loooong trip!...5 hours 25 minutes on the plane is no joke! Good thing was I was sleepy, so the rest of the time was not wasted. Not much of a good sleep as I am getting when I am in bed, but it helped.
Also, in between catching some sleeps, I got quick shots below St. Luis, Missouri covered with snow. It's beautiful! And other shots were just for fun!
I had enjoyed the weather, and the presence of Filipino people almost everywhere around the area. That made me feel like I am in the Phils. The jollibee helped me even better when I was craving for the famous chicken joy, but without the dalandan juice! There was still somewhat missing in that, but it was still okay. At least jollibee got too many shots with us.
Rest of our itineraries went good, including touring the Sea World Adventure Parks.
Going back home was worst. We both got the back pains for days with my husband. Gosh! I guess, we were not used to lying on that hotel bed, and the long hours of sitting on the plane.
